The lyrics that you sent to me make the song a little easier to understand, but it's still difficult. That's not surprising, though, because song lyrics are a kind of poetry, and poetry is very hard to translate from one language to another: words are used in unusual ways, things are suggested instead of being said explicitly, and so on. Still, the lyrics help.

"Carnivalia" is very lyrical and the meaning seems to be very delicate and evocative.
